Terms of Service

By accessing or using InstantCLI ("the Service"), operated by InstantCLI ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

InstantCLI is a software-as-a-service platform that generates command-line interface (CLI) tools from REST API documentation. The Service crawls documentation URLs you provide, extracts API endpoint information using AI, and generates CLI source code, compiled binaries, and install scripts.

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it if it changes.

CLI generation is a paid service. Payments are processed by Stripe. All fees are stated at the time of purchase. Because CLI generation involves significant compute resources (AI processing, code generation, compilation), refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If we fail to deliver a working CLI due to a fault on our end, we will issue a refund or credit.

You retain ownership of the API documentation URLs you provide and any proprietary information contained therein. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to crawl, process, and store the content at the URLs you provide solely for the purpose of generating your CLI.

You represent that you have the right to provide the documentation URLs and that their use does not violate any third-party rights.

The CLI tools generated by the Service are yours. You own the output and may use, modify, and distribute the generated CLI as you see fit. The underlying InstantCLI platform, templates, and generation pipeline remain our intellectual property.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any laws
• Submit documentation URLs that you do not have permission to access or use
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service itself (not your generated CLIs)
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent
• Use the Service to generate CLIs for illegal or harmful purposes

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InstantCLI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that generated CLIs will be free of bugs, errors, or security vulnerabilities. You are responsible for reviewing and testing any generated code before deploying it in production.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless InstantCLI and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the site. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
